LIGHT PLUS UK is a British lighting manufacturer. We manufacture in cooperation with trusted UK manufacturing partners who fabricate the lighting bodies, frames and diffusers to our own design and to our standards — the shape of a fitting, the metal it is cut from and the glass or opal in front of the LED are all specified by us.
Inside, we raise efficiency with high quality LED chips from OSRAM, Cree, Bridgelux and Philips, and we make the fitting last by integrating high performance drivers from Tridonic, Philips, Vossloh-Schwabe, MEAN WELL, Eaglerise and Light Plus. Fittings are quality-checked, warehoused and distributed from the UK, so the person you talk to about lead times, stock and technical support is the person responsible for getting it right.

Every fitting starts as our own drawing: the cut-out, the depth, the bezel, the aiming angle and the finish. That drawing is what our partners build to, and it is the same drawing you can download on the product page.
Example: the Bubble mini spot is drawn around a 41.5 mm body so it drops into a shallow ceiling void, with an adjustable head for aiming.
Trusted UK manufacturing partners fabricate the bodies, frames and diffusers to our standards: die-cast aluminium housings to carry the heat away, tempered or opal diffusers to shape the light, powder-coated in the colours we publish.
Example: Bubble uses a die-cast aluminium housing with a tempered frosted or clear glass diffuser, in black or white.
Efficiency comes from the chip, so we buy them from OSRAM, Cree, Bridgelux and Philips rather than whatever is cheapest that month. That is what lets a small fitting give usable light without running hot.
Example: Bubble gives 240 lumens from 3 watts, about 80 lumens per watt, at CRI above 90 so colours stay true.
A luminaire usually fails at the driver, not the LED. We integrate high performance drivers from Tridonic, Philips, Vossloh-Schwabe, MEAN WELL, Eaglerise and Light Plus, matched to the fitting and to the control you need: on/off, mains dimming, 0-10V or DALI.
Example: Bubble is offered with Light Plus, Tridonic, Philips, OSRAM or MEAN WELL gear, so it can be matched to the control system on site.
Every fitting leaves with its file: specification sheet, photometric data, declarations of conformity and a tender clause. Nothing is held back for a sales conversation.
Example: 185 products now carry IES and LDT photometric files you can load straight into DIALux or Relux, with a data sheet showing the light distribution.
